Thankful For Forgiveness

On Wednesday nights we are going through The Sermon on the Mount. Just to be honest, it’s not been a whole lot of fun. There has been good discussion, laughs and great fellowship. So why would I say it hasn’t been much fun? The reason is the contents of what we’ve been looking at. The contents of Jesus’s sermon is basically telling His children (Christian’s) how we should be, and quite frankly, what He expects. Why is that not much fun? Because of how short we fall on what Christ expects us to do and who we are supposed to be. With all that being said, I’m so thankful we have such a loving and forgiving Savior. When we fall short, and we will, he forgives us. Time after time Jesus shows His love to sinners like us. Thank you, Jesus for your love and mercy!
