Bro. Ashten was born and raised in Star City, Arkansas. He graduated from Star City High School in May 2026. After graduating, he completed a ministry internship at South Side Missionary Baptist Church in Star City before accepting the call to serve as the Youth Pastor of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

He is currently a student at Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary, where he is working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Theology.

His desire and goal in ministry is to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and help people discover the purpose God has for their lives. He is thankful for the opportunity to serve the youth and families of Holly Springs and looks forward to seeing what God will do through the youth ministry.
