Love Like Jesus

This past Thursday was the Friendship Association Ladies Auxiliary Meeting. I was able to attend as the speaker was our missionary, Bro. Kurt Neeley. It’s always a joy and uplifting to see Bro. Kurt. However, he preached a message that definitely touched my heart. I can confidently say, it is one of the finest sermons I have ever heard in my entire life. I’ll give you the reader’s digest version. It was from Matthew 9; the main point of the message was how Jesus led sinners to salvation. Do you know how? He loved them, and they knew He loved them. That’s right, Jesus loves sinners. Not just “clean, church going” sinners. “Dirty, rotten, no-good outcast” sinners. You want to know how we lead people to salvation? We love them. Jesus offers salvation to all. Who are we to decide who gets to hear that Jesus loves them? Let’s do better, let’s love like Jesus.
