Study for God

One of the most important things we can do as children of God is to learn more about His Word. The Bible is not simply a story book or a book of do’s and don’ts. It is where we get life. As Christians, it is imperative that we know what God’s Word says. Further than that, actually put the knowledge we gain from it into action. 2 Timothy 2:15 says “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” Notice, why it says to study. To “present yourself acceptable to God.” God gave us His Word. How are you using it?
